Welcome to the official Suerth for Senate website! I am extremely excited about my candidacy for State Senate in Connecticut’s 12th Senatorial District, which includes the towns of Branford, Durham, Guilford, Killingworth, Madison and North Branford.
I am running for State Senate because there is a serious imbalance in Hartford. Despite the large percentage of independent voters in Connecticut, Democrats outnumber Republicans in the General Assembly 2 to 1. As a result, I feel that we have little say in where our money goes or how it is spent.
